The Philippine Independence Day Celebration is a momentous occasion for Filipinos worldwide, commemorating the declaration of Philippine independence from Spanish colonial rule on June 12, 1898. It is a time for us to come together as a community, celebrate our heritage, and honor the sacrifices of our forebears who fought for our freedom.
This year, this momentous event will take place at the Suncatch Plaza in Morden on June 15, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Food vendors will start serving food at noon. Official program will start at 5pm.

This year's celebration promises to be bigger and better than ever before, featuring cultural performances, traditional Filipino cuisine, arts and crafts exhibits, and family-friendly activities. We anticipate a diverse audience of attendees, including Filipino expatriates, local residents, and individuals from neighboring communities, coming together to share in the spirit of unity and patriotism.

This event is free for everyone . All food and services are for purchase. Please bring your own lawn chairs.
