Bike Pump Track

The pump track includes elements for off-road cyclists of all ages and skill levels, making it a fun way for families to enjoy cycling in a traffic-free environment, and enhance their cycling skills and fitness. The Morden pump track was designed to allow a cyclist to maintain speed around the track by using upper and lower body strength and movement, instead of pedaling. This provides a thrilling ride over the hills and curves, and also a great full-body workout.

Cycling Without Age

Cycling Without Age is a worldwide organization that strives to keep seniors connected to their communities through the simple act of a bicycle ride. The guiding principles of Cycling Without Age include generosity (rides are always given for free by volunteer pilots), slow cycling (the experience is to be savoured, not rushed), storytelling (learning from elderly passengers) and relationships (making and maintaining friendships).

A grant received from New Horizons for Seniors has enabled Morden to purchase two specially designed trishaws, allowing the new Morden chapter to begin. These “taxis” are built to allow 1 pilot to give a bicycle ride to 1 or 2 passengers, similar to a rickshaw. Spring programming with our trishaws may be postponed based on the COVID-19 crisis.
