Celebrate Canada's 155th birthday and Lake Minnewasta's 80th at the beach on July 1st!
Morden's 2022 #CanadaDayBeachBlast celebrations at Colert Beach are back and include multicultural performers by the Metis group Ivan Flett Memorial Dancers: three siblings from Winnipeg who wowed judges and audiences when they showcased their speedy footwork on Canada’s Got Talent.
We are excited to welcome Joe Lanceley, better known as Tipi Joe, the owner of Tipi Joe Creations and the director of the non-profit group Red Willow Tipi. He works with schools, organizations, and individuals to provide a high-quality learning experience that incorporates Indigenous culture and teachings through the arts.
You will find family-focused activities during the day and evening, including games, contests, fire dancing, our magnificent fireworks show and music by The Mood.
