In light of the forecasted rain and cooler temperatures tomorrow, the Crocus Suncatch Sounds 2024 Season Opener, will now be held at the Morden Activity Centre from 7 PM to 10 PM.

Joe Wilson

Joe Wilson is a Country and Western singer/songwriter from Winkler, Manitoba, Canada. He is currently focusing on writing and performing songs that have a balance between two prominent ways of life in the area: farming and ranching. Two ways of life that have been significant in his family history, evident in his debut album "Denim and Roses".

"Denim and Roses" is compiled of both true stories and imaginative tales of a simpler way of life. Adventure, romance and action themes ring throughout, painting a picture of life in the West.

His latest single is a tribute to another large part of the community: Industry. "Here's To The Working Man" is dedicated to the hard-working employees of the Triple E/Lode King corporation who help the community grow and thrive.

Joe loves going down to a small theater or bar and playing tunes for hours. He enjoys meeting new people and playing the songs of their past. Catch him sometime down the road!

Bill Dowling

Originally from Winnipeg, Bill Dowling has been playing music in the Winkler-Morden area for over 30 years. He has two albums to his credit so far; 2008’s In The Wood, and 2016’s Accidents & Incidents, and has plans for a third album in the near future. He’ll be performing at the Back Forty June 2nd.
