The City of Morden is experiencing AN EXTREME DROUGHT.
As per Council direction, Operations Department has prepared the City of Morden drought response plan on the pattern of the Pembina Valley Water Cooperative Drought plan.
The current lake level is 8’ 11” below the full supply level, which places the City in Extreme Drought Conditions.
The joint drought mitigation efforts as detailed in the response plan for Extreme Drought Conditions are required to be taken by the City and the residents and businesses of the City of Morden with immediate effect.

Residents and industrial/commercial users are requested to reduce the water usage over and above what is requested in the table below to achieve the 30% overall reduction.
