The City of Morden would like to notify the public of creek bank stabilization works that will temporarily close a portion of the Dead Horse Creek. The closure will restrict public access in and adjacent to a section of the creek in Morden Park west of 13th Street and north of Thornhill St.
Affected Area
The estimated 7-day closure will take place starting on Monday, February 8th and continue until the work is completed. The project is in partnership with the Pembina Valley Watershed District in efforts to reduce bank erosion and increase safety in the area.
Trees, shrubs and grasses will be installed spring of 2021 to complete the project.
