Morden selected as finalist for the Jets Town Takeover 2023

WINNIPEG, October 18, 2022 - The Winnipeg Jets have narrowed down their 2023 Town Takeover potential hosts to Beausejour, Morden, and Oakville after receiving submissions from rural Manitoba communities hoping to host the Jets Town Takeover event on April 11, 2023. 

Now the decision is up to Jets fans, who can view the video submissions of all three communities and vote for their favourite finalist at WinnipegJets.com/TownTakeover. Voting is open now until Oct. 28 at 11:59 p.m. CT, and fans can vote once per day.

Beausejour, Morden, and Oakville are vying to host a full day of activities, including Project 11 mental wellness programming for local students and Winnipeg Jets alumni on-ice participation with a local hockey team, along with a free all-ages social-style viewing party of the April 11 Winnipeg Jets at Minnesota Wild game that will bringing the community together through their Jets fandom in a home game-like atmosphere complete with Mick E. Moose, Winnipeg Jets game hosts, prizing and more.
