Manitoba Infrastructure will be working on the mill and overlay for the westbound lanes of Hwy#3 from 1st Street to PR432. Maple Leaf has started mobilizing, and work will be starting from Tuesday, Sept 21, 2021.
The work is expected to be completed in 2-3 weeks, weather dependant.
Manitoba Infrastructure will also mill and overlay both lanes of PR432, including shoulders from Hwy#3 to 1.7Km North.
A mill and overlay is a street maintenance technique that requires the removal of the top layer (2") of a street by the grinding action of a large milling machine. After the top layer is removed, a new layer of bituminous pavement is put in its place.
