The City is requesting for a volunteer group or organization to operate the community gardens located on Grant Street and 19th Street for 2020. The City will continue to support this initiative with in-kind labor (tilling and woodchip pathways) and provide financial support up to a maximum of $2,000, in case there is a gap in expenses and revenues collected from the rent of garden lots. The volunteer group would become responsible for the registration intake, plot assignment, and communications with plot renters.
