The City of Morden is seeking Voting Officials to manage Voting Stations for the 2022 Municipal Election on October 26, 2022, in accordance with the Municipal Councils and School Boards Elections Act.
Reporting to the Senior Election Officer:
The Deputy Returning Officer or DRO oversees a particular voting station on Election Day. The rate of pay is $250/day.
The Poll Clerk keeps a written record of the voting at the voting station. The rate of pay is $225/day
Must be available to work from 7:30 AM until completion of the ballot count on Election Day. Polls are open from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM.
The rate of pay for the training session is $40 (2-hour session)
Qualifications:
Candidates must satisfy the requirements to vote in the 2022 Municipal Election in accordance with the Manitoba Municipal Councils and School Boards Elections Act.
