Hive Development Group, has been awarded the Option to Purchase the historic Land Titles building located at 351 Stephen Street, marking the beginning of a project that promises to breathe new life into this significant landmark.
For several years, both the City of Morden and Hive Development Group have shared a vision of restoring the former Land Titles building. The shared dream is to preserve the building's historical essence while adapting it to meet contemporary needs. Over the next year, Hive Development Group will engage with a variety of experts to devise a rehabilitation plan that ensures the building's longevity for future generations.
Upon receiving the go-ahead from the City, the initiative will kick off with crucial structural repairs, followed by the meticulous restoration of the building's unique exterior features. The interior will then undergo a complete transformation, resulting in a mix of commercial spaces on the ground floor and residential units above.
