The City of Morden will again be hosting Suncatch Sounds, a free concert series in the Suncatch on Stephen Street. The first event is scheduled for Friday July 17 at 7:00 pm. COVID-19 postponed the start up of the concert series, but with new provincial guidelines, events can now go ahead with a few restrictions.
After a successful year in 2019, the City is excited to provide the opportunity for some physically distanced entertainment. We are hoping to reach the maximum 200 person capacity allowed to enjoy the sounds of The Beerjammers with a cold beverage from the Pembina Hills Art Gallery Bar. The Beer Gardens will open at 6:30 pm.
“There are a few extra preparations and guidelines for us to follow, but it’s all worth it to be able to provide live entertainment in Morden. We have awesome local talent in the region, and the community is always so supportive. We’re hoping for a great night!” explains Clare Agnew, Director of Community Services with the City of Morden.
